The Angel CoFund makes equity investments of between £100,000 and £1 million in smaller businesses in the UK. It invests alongside strong syndicates of business angels to support businesses with strong growth potential. The website contains all the information regarding available programmes, case studies as well as downloadable finance guides.
PMD Better Business Finance
PMD is an independent provider of Business Finance. By offering financial flexibility, they aim to provide funding in a way that suits the client. The website is a little bit awkward to navigate, but worth looking at if you’re interested in trying to grow the business.
Community Bright Ideas Fund
The Bright Ideas programme is jointly funded by Power to Change and the Department for Communities and Local Government. The programme provides a tailored community business development support and early stage finance of up to £20,000 for community organisations that are accepted onto the programme.

Another ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) funded project, being delivered by Economic Growth Solutions. Providing free advice and support to manufacturing SMEs to help grow. A complete list of solutions being offered are listed on the website, some examples are business strategy, finance, supplier relationships, marketing and market knowledge.
Business Matters Online Magazine
The leading UK SME business magazine, containing many informative articles that may be useful to SMEs and covers a range of topics, including funding, sales, marketing, technology & running your business. Something for everyone.
SME for Growth
Similar to above, SME for Growth provides plenty of resources, both as written articles and videos. Again, the resources are broken down into useful categories such as strategy, finance, innovation and so on; meaning that there should be something applicable to everyone’s business. Subscription is free.
