Local Enterprise Partnerships
At Inspire2Enterprise we provide partnership working opportunities to universities and local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) with an interest in social initiatives. Our dedicated service for LEPs grew out of the Business Link service, set up in the 1990s to help small businesses lacking in-house infrastructure to grow.
Our service for LEPs is focused on growth and our commitment is to those with a propensity to grow and that see the value in social enterprises and third sector organisations.
Because we understand that some LEPs have evolved and adapted to the rapidly changing social landscape, while others haven’t, our services are designed to be flexible. For those with less experience or expertise in the sector, there is an opportunity for you to tap into our knowledge to help shape your thinking and approach.
Public funding
A significant proportion of public funding for social enterprises will be channelled through LEPs. LEPs will in turn be able to give social enterprises the opportunity to bid for investment, to fund initiatives like energy and waste management.
