Skills & Opportunities Fund - Round 1 2016 open for applications

NatWest has recently launched their 2016 Skills & Opportunities Fund. The fund is open for applications for grants of up to £35,000 from charities, social enterprises, community groups, state-funded schools and colleges based in the UK and Ireland.

The focus for this funding is to support organisations that help people in disadvantaged communities develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to help themselves; skills that will enable them to get into work or start a business, now or in the future. NatWest believe that helping people gain such skills and access opportunities to learn can help turn their lives around and build better communities for everyone; when stronger communities are built, everyone grows.

To distribute the fund, the country has been split into seven regions. Each region has different priorities, reflecting the regional differences. If you are interested in applying, please take a look at the priorities for your region, to ensure your application complies with their requirements.

The deadline for applications for this round of funding is Friday 19th February at noon. If you are not ready to apply this time round there will be a further round of applications sought later in the year.

Please visit the Skills & Opportunties Fund's website for further information and to apply.
