The Government is calling upon private investors and philanthropists to help solve issues such as homelessness and long-term unemployment. Lloyds Bank's Social Entrepreneurs Programme

The Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programme opens for applications on 2nd February. The programme offers finance and support to 300 social entrepreneurs every year and consists of two different courses. The ‘Start Up’ course helps new social enterprises get up and running and the ‘Scale Up’ course supports those looking to grow an existing enterprise. Read more

University of Northampton Social Market

The University of Northampton will be running a Social Market as part of the “List It Live It” week (in conjunction with National Student Volunteering Week). The market will take place on Friday 27th February in the Student Union on Park Campus. There are a limited number of stalls available for social enterprises to sell their products and/or services at a charge of £10 per stall. Read more
