Boosting SME performance:
Exemplas has traditionally delivered some 25% of the UK government’s Business Link support services for SMEs. An in-depth analysis found that, over 3 years, Business Link generated almost £1 billion extra business turnover, more than £300 million extra profits, £145 million extra net assets and £400 million in additional exports.
Providing access to entrepreneurship:
Working with partners in France, Portugal, Spain and the UK, Exemplas encouraged and supported people from disadvantaged groups to consider self-employment through franchising. The project involved researching individual aspiration, developing and piloting programmes, and providing ongoing tailored support to franchisees and franchisors.
Increasing trade through structured investment in management:
Exemplas established an accredited management development centre in Pakistan to improve the quality of SMEs in southern Asia. As a result the centre is now offering a significant amount of high quality management training throughout the region.
Launching a management qualifications centre:
Exemplas was funded by the European Commission to help set up a management qualifications centre in Amman, Jordan. Our experts guided the Jordanian team on delivering relevant training and assessing students’ work.
Developing future leaders:
Exemplas worked with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, helping it offer certified management development training. The project included providing a Certificate in Management programme to 30 junior managers from a major local employer.
