A qualified solicitor and SFEDI qualified Business Adviser, he has extensive and wide ranging experience of social enterprise and the Third Sector, having managed a start up social firm, delivered management training to social enterprises via Anglia Ruskin University and supported a variety of Small Medium Enterprise, mainstream and social enterprises.
Wendy Gibbs
Wendy is an experienced Enterprise Adviser having worked with both start-up and established social enterprises over the last 4 years providing in-depth advice, coaching and mentoring so that social enterprises can achieve their growth aspirations, goals and objectives. Wendy has previously worked in the financial sector in a variety of roles and is knowledgeable in business planning, managing and raising finance, legal structures, sales and marketing.
Lisa Wright
Lisa is an experienced Client Services Adviser. She is responsible for relationship management; tracking client progress; provision of further information and advice, and referral to supplemental internal services and support. Lisa has 14 years experience in customer facing roles, which include information adviser, account management, project management, sales and team supervisor.
Paul Henry
Paul is highly experienced in Enterprise & Partner Development possessing an in-depth knowledge of social enterprise and has expertise in establishing services which support the creation, maintenance and growth of socially responsible businesses. His role is to identify, develop and manage channel and support partnerships within the third, public and private sectors and identify further market making opportunities which lead to a growth in social enterprise activity.
Kieran Thorpe
Kieran Thorpe is an Enterprise Information Adviser, responsible for providing information advice and guidance to social enterprises. Kieran has spent the previous four years working in a business advisory role providing information and support to pre start, start up and established businesses across all sectors and industries. Kieran also has over 8 years experience working within Local Authorities on a range of projects and initiatives.
Andrew Cook
Andrew is an experienced Enterprise Adviser responsible for providing ongoing, in-depth advice together with coaching and mentoring support for clients’ with a particular focus on sustainability and growth. Previously a Business Adviser, his experience also includes setting-up and operating his own business for over 22 years.
Malcolm Williamson
Malcolm is Head of Enterprise Support Services and responsible for the Inspire2Enterprise service. He has considerable experience delivering a spectrum of frontline information, advisory and specialist business services to the SME market, and the social enterprise and broader Third sector in particular, and separately has significant cross-sector commercial experience having worked in senior roles within national and international corporate organisations. He has also successfully created and grown his own businesses.
Sian Turner
Sian Turner is an Enterprise Information Adviser, responsible for providing information, advice and guidance to social enterprises. Sian has spent the last four years working in a similar role providing information and support to pre-start, start up and established businesses across all sectors and industries. Prior to this, Sian gained valuable knowledge and experience working for over 10 years within the corporate financial services sector.
Emma Heath
Emma is the specialist researcher providing high quality research to clients requiring business or social research to inform their enterprises marketing, strategy, planning or SROI. Emma has five years’ experience in business and economic research working with start-up companies, SMEs, third sector organisations as well as multi nationals. She is about to embark on the Market Research Society’s Diploma in Applied Market and Social Research.
Chris Hardy
Chris is a Specialist Finance Adviser. A qualified chartered accountant with a finance, commercial, and advisory background, his prior career experience includes advising, managing and supporting early stage enterprises, working with business owners in the areas of financial planning, forecasting, management accounts, statutory reporting, systems implementation, administration, compliance, sales and marketing strategies, and recruitment. He has also worked in senior specialist roles within finance and has run his own recruitment and finance consulting business.
Carol Deslandes
Carol is highly experienced in Enterprise & Partner Development. Her qualifications include a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Prince 2 Registered Practitioner and Certificate in (Charity) Fund-raising Management. Her role is to identify, develop and manage partnerships that raise the profile of Social Enterprise as a business model together with new opportunities for service development. She is a highly skilled Senior Management Professional with experience within the Private, Public and Third sectors.
Elaine Holtum
Elaine is Events Manager responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive programme of events and workshops designed for the social enterprise sector. Elaine has 16 years experience in events and conference management both commercial and aligned to Government funded training programmes. She has successfully managed and led a professional team through many changes, and has extensive experience of the training needs of pre-start and established SME businesses.
Kath Teal
Kath Teal is the Research and Intelligence Manager and is responsible for direct-to-market commercial research services and knowledge and information management, currently supporting Enterprise Support Services. Kath is a professionally qualified information manager who has extensive experience in the field of research, business intelligence and knowledge management and strong track record in strategic management and delivery of a wide range of business information and research services to public and private sector organisations.
